With increasingly stringent noise regulations and power plants being constructed closer to urban areas, acoustical shrouds provide effective and economical noise control for large surface applications. These modular panel systems are specifically designed for large installations such as Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) and their associated inlet ducting.

Our shroud solutions offer versatile installation options including direct mounting to existing systems like HRSGs or as free-standing structures with independent support frameworks. The modular design enables field installation without on-site welding requirements, connecting securely to HRSG walls through engineered attachment systems.

Given the complexity of large-scale acoustic projects, we provide dedicated engineering consultation including 1-2 days of in-office collaboration with our engineering team. This comprehensive support ensures optimal system integration and includes:

This approach ensures acoustic shrouds are engineered for each application, delivering reliable noise control while maintaining operational accessibility and equipment performance.

Our “sandwich” design of panels is 50 to 150mm (2 to 6 inches) thick (depending on acoustical requirements) and consists of a steel galvanized in- and outside skin, acoustical filler and a perforated steel.

The acoustical panels are supplied cut to size and marked and installed with an easy interlock system with all adjacent panels. The panels are approx. 1.2m x 6m (4ft x 20ft) and mounted horizontally.
