Burgess-Manning Flue Gas Silencers (FGS) are custom-engineered to effectively and reliably reduce exhaust noise from gas turbines (GT) and heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) systems. Our patented designs handle a wide range of flue gas temperatures, varied flow conditions and high exhaust gas velocities without compromising system performance.
Whether integrated into silencer ducts at high (up to 730 °C) or low temperatures (behind the HRSG around 150 °C) or operating under extreme flow conditions, our silencers are optimized for the specific output profiles of gas turbines, supporting both simple cycle and bypass/HRSG configurations.
With absorptive attenuation targeting medium to high noise frequencies, durable materials selected for demanding design temperatures and panels suitable for rectangular or circular ducts, Burgess-Manning silencers deliver the desired acoustic performance while maintaining the extreme flow conditions of efficient power plant operation. Tailor-made for vertical or horizontal installations, our FGS provides reliable noise reduction while supporting cost-efficient plant solutions.
