Burgess-Manning centrifugal compressor silencers are designed for atmospheric intake, discharge and pressure discharge applications. Being characteristically high-frequency sound, an absorptive design is utilized to attenuate this noise. These silencers are designed with minimum airflow restriction and pressure drop. Standard connection sizes range from 1" to 66".
Burgess-Manning reciprocating compressor silencers and pulsation dampeners are designed to reduce air intake noise and pressure pulses. Typically requiring reactive-type silencing for low frequencies involved. The Burgess Manning multi-chamber silencers provide the required broad band attenuation to meet your specified levels. Pulsation dampeners/silencers are available to meet your pressure discharge applications. Standard connection sizes range from 1" to 48". Sizes 12" and below are stocked in several models.
